I love your program. I've waited a long time for actually play with it but the wait was really worth it!
Like you said in previous topic an option for sheet or "guitarhero" style would be cool but its your project so you decide!
I would love tough if someone know a programe that let you play along and tell you of some kind if you miss...I dontknow any program that does that.
My number one request tough would be a High score board per song, something that would remember the midi song and remember like the top 10 scores youve done. I have to write down the score each time and I play a lot of songs so i have a lot of different scores.
Another thing that would be great if you dont plan to add sheet musics, would be an option to add the name of the notes (sorry if the term isint right i talk french more frequently) Like DO RE MI lol... With that it would help to learn where the notes are on the piano. Because right now its just follow whats there and the learning in that is small.
Another thig that would be cool is if you would be able to record something youve played, i'm amazed by the things i can do with this and I would love to show it , like recording it in midi...just a tough.
Edit : I just think about 2 other things. One thing that would help me a lot in difficult songs would be a rewind button. Like a big solo, I have to start all over again, maybye you could cancel the score if you use it or something like that.
After that i dont know how much trouble it would be and I dont know how much people use that, but it would be great if you could add .gp4 compatibility. For those who dont know its the file extension for Guitar Pro 5. That program is great for partition and things like that and the .gp4 are like midis created by this program. I have about a thousan .gp4 that just wait to be played and there is a lot of those to find on the internet.
For now that all I think about!
I was waiting for a forum to discuss! Thanks a lot and really this is all fantastic work.

Welcome Roudy. I think you're officially the first poster here!
I can confirm that I'm working on a few of those.
I can confirm that I'm working on a few of those.
- High Scores: probably won't make it into 0.6.2, but is a very high priority for the release after that.
- Note Names: I wasn't planning on "Do, Re, Mi"-style naming, but Christian Auby already supplied me with some code to write "C#, Ab, D"-style names -- it will make it into 0.6.2.
- Song Recording: I am planning to let users record their performances with or without the background music, and even create entire songs a track at a time.
- Rewind: I think this is generally included in some sort of "practice mode" where you may be able to do other things like have each note wait until you play it before continuing. Definitely in the pipeline. Good suggestion.
- .gp4 file support: I'll look into them. That's the first I've heard of Guitar Pro.
Hi ! Thanks for the reply!
I cant wait for updates!
Really if you could add the traditional "DO RE MI FA SOL LA SI DO" to the english notation that would be great...i'm really starting to learn so im not into the english notation yet.
For Guitar Pro, as you guess it its mainly for guitar but theres a lot of piano .gp4 out there.
Again thanks for your great work!

All classical composers learned to play piano with "do re mi fa sol la si" hehe check Mozzart Bethoven Enescu
Why they are "do re mi fa sol la si" try to sing it and you will see that they represent the real sound of the piano note!
C D E F G A B are sounding fake!
I`m a singer so i tested them and found that when i sing "DO" matched the C note on the piano!
When i sing "C" it is sounding more like "SI" that it is not "DO" in therms of hearing
The C D E F G A B it is no help for a singer like notation it is like an nightmare that why must be aware of that
If you hum "DO" sing "DO" you will find on a piano a C right away!
Try it yourself
